Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt system32\deivers\fastfat.sys

This is due to the following reasons
1.fastfat.sys file is damaged or missing
2.The RAM in computer is damaged or it is not installed correctly.Here it is the solution:
Use recovery console option
At command prompt type
“cd system32\drivers” press ENTER
“dir fastfat.sys press” ENTER
“ren fastfat.sys fastfat.old” press ENTER
If it is not working try the following
Type the CD-ROM drive letter then press ENTER
Type “cd i386” press ENTER
Type “expand fastfat.sy_ c:\winnt\system32\drivers\fastfat.sys press ENTER
Type “C:\” press ENTER
Restart the machine
